What does a page cost?

Are my documents saved?

We delete the private source upload before sending its in-memory contents to Anthropic for extraction. Reviewed rows stay in your open browser only. Download before leaving. Abandoned uploads are removed by daily cleanup, normally within 48 hours. Anthropic has its own retention policy.

Does balanced mean the extraction is perfect?

No. Balanced means the available amounts reconcile arithmetically. Missing balances, uncertain values and possible duplicate rows are flagged. Always compare the extracted rows against your original statement before using them.

Convert a scanned bank statement to Excel

A legible scan saved as a PDF can be converted to transaction rows and an Excel workbook. Keep every page upright, uncropped and readable. Blurred amounts and ambiguous dates need manual review; incomplete extraction fails rather than silently returning a partial statement.

Quality method, 29 September 2026: we compared every expected row, date and amount in synthetic digital and scanned statements, including reversed order, missing balances, duplicates and incorrect totals. A 20-page, 20 MB example with 800 transactions also matched. These examples do not establish accuracy for every bank layout; always review your own statement. No accuracy percentage is claimed.
